Loss and Grieving
M.I.S.S. Foundation (Mothers in Sympathy and Support) is a non-profit, volunteer-based organization committed to providing emergency support to families after the death of their child whether through miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal death, premature birth, congenital anomalies, sudden death or child's death at any age.
MISS offers immediate and ongoing support to any family who has experienced the death of a child. This support can be by phone or email or in person. Support can be peer-to-peer or in a group setting. Both local mentors have personally experienced the death of a child through stillbirth and/or miscarriage. All support resources are free of charge.
No family should walk

Any Baby Can’s Center for Infant & Child Loss provides support to parents who have experienced the tragic loss of their infant, child, or teen due to any cause.

Share is a national organization with a local chapter in San Antonio that supports those touched by the loss of a baby through early pregnancy loss, stillbirth or during the first months of life.
Share’s goal is to ensure that families are given every opportunity to heal from the tragedy from the loss of their baby. The support encompasses emotional, physical, spiritual and social healing, as well as sustaining the family unit. Share also offers resources and educational opportunities to healthcare professionals and community caregivers to help them better understand and serve the needs of grieving families.
The San Antonio Share Chapter meets at University United Methodist Church at 5084 DeZavala Road on the 1st floor in the John Wesley Room on the second Monday of the month at 6:30 PM. Childcare is available by reservation by calling 210-696-1033.
