Sewing to serve premature babies
San Antonio, Texas
The beautiful burial garments are made from donated bridal gowns. We also use the material from donated wedding gowns to provide the linings for our handmade wooden caskets.
Yes, we make caps for the little ones. But that's not all we make. Since its inception in 1999, Threads of Love has grown steadily both in number of volunteers and (more importantly) number of items produced for our premature babies. In the year 2000 a total of 1,434 items were produced and distributed to hospital and care centers. By the grace of God, in 2016, we produced more than 51,000 items. As you review the items we prepare for the babies and their families, we invite you to consider how you might join us in the ministry.
