RONNIE CLASMEYER - VOLUNTEER OF THE QUARTER
April-June 2010

Ronnie Clasmeyer
Threads of Love Volunteer
Threads of Love has been providing garments and accessories for premature babies for more than ten years. During that time, many volunteers have come and gone. Each one has been greatly appreciated. Sometimes, however, certain volunteers seem to stand out-both for their dedication, and also for the wonderful spirit that inspires others. We want to acknowledge these quiet, dedicated individuals-these special volunteers-as "Volunteers of the Quarter."
Our 2010 second quarter "Volunteer of the Quarter" is Ronnie Clasmeyer.
Ronnie began volunteering in High School, when she gave her time and talents to an orphanage. She and longtime friends operated a restaurant and gift shop in the house formerly owned by John Steinbeck, giving all proceeds to charity.
For the last six-and-a-half years, Ronnie has generously given her time and talents to Threads of Love. She's vibrant, diligent, enthusiastic (as you can tell from the pictures), and willing to serve in any capacity.
Ronnie is our Miss Sunshine and her joy is contagious! What would we do without her? She teaches classes on making lovies, and rehabs "wounded" ones when necessary. She helps deliver our handiwork to the hospitals, and serves as the social chairman for TOL events for our volunteers. She even fills in as the group leader when Liz Page, our TOL director, is absent from a meeting.
Ronnie also serves on the TOL Board of Directors.
Other interesting facts about Ronnie:
Did you know:
Ronnie's son Carl designed our new Threads of Love logo?
Ronnie has been on 41 cruises?
