On Thursday, April 17th, Joe and Liz Page went to Seventh Heaven Quilt Shop to give a presentation. What was unusual about this? Dixie Bradbury, the owner, had been collecting fines for six months. The members are fined if they do not complete their quilt squares, if they are late to the meeting, or if they are absent. Dixie collects the fines and then gives them to a local charity. This years she selected Threads of Love. She added some money to the amount and surprised us with a check for one thousand ($1,000)dollars, which will go into our Building Fund!
